Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) is pleased to be the beneficiary of the 6th Annual Super Bowl Party with the Pros hosted by former New England Patriot Marty Moore, former Pittsburgh Steeler Dermontti Dawson, and former Cleveland Brown Frank Minnifield. They join other professional players and Central Kentucky football fans to raise funds to support the mission of Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS).

VIPS is the only agency in Kentucky specifically dedicated to meeting the early intervention needs of young children who are blind or visually impaired and their families. Experts estimate that as much as 90% of what a young child learns occurs through the use of vision.  Therefore, young children with severe vision loss are at significant risk of experiencing delays in all areas of development (rolling over, sitting up, crawling and learning to speak.)  VIPS works with children and families to facilitate use of the child’s other senses and any remaining vision to their best advantage. The goal is to have each child become an independent, capable young child ready to fulfill his or her dreams.
